Course Objectives:

This course has been created to provide an overview of counselor ethics, including models for resolving ethical dilemmas. This course helps you to answer the question, “What should I do?!” when ethical dilemmas present in professional counseling, social work, family therapy and addictions counseling.

At the end of this course the professional will be able to:

1.) Identify key components of respective professional codes of ethics.

2.)  Identify situational supports for resolving ethical dilemmas.

3.) Use professional resources for accurate intervention.

4.) Assess clients within the context of client need

5.) Create interventions within professional scope of practice
